All Guides

Practice phrases only. Never type a funded seed into this site.

Hosted SeedPal is demo/eval. For a real phrase: install, go offline, then practice.

A memory palace is not a backup. Keep a physical backup you can read with your eyes.

Personal phrase practice accepts words only after offline acknowledgment. SeedPal keeps them in the current browser session; it does not back up or recover your seed.

About the Memory Palace Technique

The memory palace technique, also known as the method of loci, is a 2,500-year-old mnemonic strategy that converts abstract information into vivid spatial journeys. It's used by memory champions worldwide and backed by modern neuroscience research.

By placing visual images at familiar locations in your mind, you leverage your brain's exceptional spatial memory—one of the strongest memory systems we have. This makes it possible to memorize random word lists (like BIP39 seed phrases and 12-word recovery phrases) that would otherwise be nearly impossible to recall.

SeedPal automates the visual encoding step by assigning emoji cues to each BIP39 word, then guides you through progressive practice stages from full cues to cold recall.

Privacy & Security

SeedPal is an offline-first memory trainer. Generated practice phrases are exposed and must never hold funds. For personal phrase practice, install the PWA, disconnect from all networks, and wipe the session when finished.
